Did anyone watch this on Ch 5 last night?

It was absolutely amazing, Micheal Rutzen, who has been free diving with Great Whites for years was trying to put one into tonic immobility. He had a few practice goes with the reef shark and managed to get a 4m tiger shark into that state after discovering the Tiger is different to other types of shark in that its sensory receptors are at the side of its head not on the nose. He didn't manage to get the great white to do it, but did manage to interact with a female who actually turned on her side and submitted to him then allowed him to hold on to her dorsal fin and was behaving more like a dolphin, than a shark.

He did have a few close shaves though, his mask flooded while in 5m vis with 8 G.whites all trying to 'investigate' him

Its well worth a watch.

Seen this a while back. My wife has the hots for him(sorry Badknees). Cannot make up my mind if hes mad or clever. maybe a bit of both. great program though

Sharkman is pretty impressive, holding a tiger shark and falling to the bottom with her amazing.

But you have to pretty mental to try that.....'I know today im going to grab a shark, ermm ooh i think i'll try a great white!!!!!

I saw it and frankly it scared the bejesus out of me. that guy is either insane or has cochones the size of footballs.
