Good news, just hope the scum have a very sad and useless life, good luck with getting the kit back, I know how you feel we had our van slolen with our kit and 3 dogs in, I felt violated, the van was found with the dogs in, thirsty but ok, some of the kit had been taken, I really question some members of our society, makes you want to opt out and live on a remote island, as my father keeps on saying dont let the scum win !!!!

Tommo thats awful, the poor dogs. And knowing how I felt about the kit going I can't begin to imagine how you felt losing the dogs, however temporary it turned out to be. At the time it must have been devastating.

We were shocked by the immediate response too. Paul saw the thief in the van and managed to get a vehicle, keys and the owner to drive it within seconds and followed it, with debris from the trailer flying everywhere. He called 999 en route and spoke to the police who told him he had rung the wrong number and gave him a local number to ring which took 10 minutes just to get an answer. Have we really reached a point where only gun crime and murders elicits an 'emergency' response?!

Now that's the sort of attitude that will have me on your remote island. Hope you don't mind me sharing the beach?!

should of told the policeman/child,community support person or whoever answered that they were doing 37 in a 30 zone,they would of been out in force with armed responce:rolleyes:or even better that your hubby caught the theiving little t**t and give him a kicking,would have been there and arrested him for gbh

Yeh starfish, when I move to my island all good people are more than welcome, I will put a sign up at the slip entry point NO RIFF RAFF !!! The creatures that stole our van threatened my wife with screwdriver, god knows how things may have turned out if she had dealt with things in a different manner, I really quetion or society and where we are going !!

While I understand your sentiments the irony of the fact that some one would have to steal for them to meet your suggested fate I find ammusing.

we are to soft on people like this if they are cought they get sent on a holiday for bing stressed and not having much of thier own (they have loads of other peoles stuff though).glad you got most of your gear back.
