Exclamation Diver lost - Rosalie Moller
Hi All

Haven't seen a posting about this so thought some may liked to be informed.

A co-worker of mine was on a Liveaboard last week doing the northern wrecks and reefs tour - a Tony Backhurst boat I think, a club trip from a St.Helens BSAC Branch.

3 of the group decided to (with the dive guide) do a penetration of the Rosalie Moller's engin room. It would appear that due to silt getting kicked up all 4 of the divers became lost inside the wreck. 2 of the party managed to find a way out but were down to breathing off thier ponies.

The guide made it out but couldn't locate his buddy and so went back down (40+m) to take another look around. He was unable to locate the lost diver and ended up severly bent and was flown out to recompression. The 4th diver has still not been located despite air/sea search by the Egyptian forces.

I'm sure we will all like to pass on our deepest condolenses to the friends and family of the lost diver.

This raises all the same questions, but is still most regretful

If first you don’t succeed, redefine success

Always tragic and sad to hear these stories, thoughts to the family

If we're not suppose to eat animals, why are they made of meat?
