Cromhall is ok when needs must. Can get there on a sunday morning do two dives and still be home for sunday roast.

But to be honest beyond a training and testing new kit there isn't much to cromhall, it's a site of special scientific interest cos of the newts so they cant add much to the water.

Got to be better than Dosthill, which is shall we go clockwise, anti clockwise or straight down the middle?

I wanted to go to cappers.

Isn't that the same for any inland 'artificial' dive site? Except maybe for the Sunday Roast bit.....

I hate to break it to you, but those crashed planes in the water at other sites are not a real disater.....

Just been to Dosthill for the first time today. Not a bad site but could find myself getting bored very quickly. The site could do with a bit of investment. The boot of the car looks like a gravel pit with the amount of shale and stones my wet kit picked up.
The staff were very friendly and helpful but as for the bogs, well I just waited until I got to the pub at the end of the day.

Dost is OK if you want a quick dip without having to get up at silly O'Clock. The bogs could do with being sorted out, they are supposed to be getting a proper toilet block soon (but I was told that about 12 months ago!!
