Timbo, Abersoch
We are planning to dive the 'Timbo' either this coming weekend or next. It's a wreck off the St Tudwalls islands near Abersoch. I've read the bit on it in Chris Holden's book 'Underwater Guide to North Wales' but as it was published 5 years ago and some of the information is older than that I wondered if anyone has dived it recently. Is it worth a dive?

God bless George Bush and America.

Simon, you and Rainey are always very welcome to dive from my boat, but bear in mind it's not a RIB, it's a sports boat and not the easiest of entries/exits (1m high backward roll in and dekit in the water, hand the kit up, then climb a short ladder to get out). It's only 22 feet long with only just enough room for 2 divers to kit up at any one time (I need a bigger boat).

Incidentally I had the task of emptying the heads (chemical toilet) last weekend, I forgot to empty it at the end of last season, oops, it was brim full with year old smelly stuff, it honked. The toilet station on the marina was closed and locked, so there was only the gents in which to empty it. As I was pouring it down the toilet men were walking, and turning around and walking out muttering something about coming back later. After putting the heads back on the boat I went back to the toilet for a wee and the smell was still there. Are you sure you want an invitation?

You mean you don't just pee over the gunwales ... thought it was normal, must just be me.

Only 4.9% of the UK population live in Wales - the rest just wish they did.
