That time of year for me is fast approaching when I have to pay the server fees for UKDivers.com.
I am as most of you know, living and working in Thailand for peanuts, thats my choice it's a lifesyle issue. I have decided to add Google AdWords to some of the pages of UKDivers.com to generate a little income solely to pay the website overheads. I will at some time also add them to the forums for non or non logged in members. Members logged in to the forums will not see ads. If you do see ads in the next week or so it's only me trying to get the coding correct, they will soon be gone. I hope you guys understand the need for this. UKDivers.com will remain a not for profit website. Presently Residing in Phuket Thailand |

Well, I don't understand how it all works but it gets the

Not a problem Peter. you do whatever you need to do to keep it running. If, in the future, that involves this becoming a full advert forum like YD then so be it. It has been very good of you to finance this yourself for all the years. Cheers.

Sounds OK to me...
You might like to consider putting something like a paypal donate button. If all those of us who used the website regularly put in a pound ro two.... I'd certainly be happy to donate! Maybe those who donate could get a little star in their profile too ;-) Ian |
