Riverdance off Blackpool
Just been for a quick nosey at our latest addition to the sea front.
Whilst there, an RAF Heli came in and dropped off 3 guys from the Maritime Salvage Agency to assess damage and figure out how to get the thing off the beach...

crikey, that did wash up shallow. I take it that this pic is taken at low tide? what kind of tidal range do you have there?

looking at the tides this week i would expect it to be refloated on friday there is a 9mtr tide which should help failing that ive got a nice new lump hammer are a frew chizzles bagsy the bell

No wonder, the poor thing probably had a bit of complex with all the naming and renaming that's gone on since 1977.

Looks like the owner fell out with his Mrs in 1994.
