RE: free flowing reg!!!
apparantly ill be getting them back this week!" there was a problem with the plunger?noticed when originally serviced. but as plunger was replaced on service they thought it was fixed, obviously it's something other than the plunger. Its on the bench now getting sorted" This is what i was told on sat. there was a fault on the plunger when i first took them in(thats when they worked great) new plunger= bigger fault? Im not an expert but im smelling something.Mad waiting to see what ill get billed for when they come back this time.

RE: free flowing reg!!!
I feel for you mate. I'm not impressed with your LDS at all. Is it worth asking for a full refund and going somewhere else?

I can not believe they are not safety tested before they return them.

How much are you being charged? Silly question but are regs very complex in their construction? Could it be something as simple as tweaking, it sounds like something is still too tight?Huh

RE: free flowing reg!!!
I've got a spare set if you still want to dive on Sunday morning. Think I should be able to make it cos we're going to the beer festival tonight instead. (Sorry, couldn't be arsed to text and it seemed vaguely relevant to thread...)

RE: free flowing reg!!!
my lds front man who is VERY nice and apologetic has said they may get sorted tomoro in the shop as there service tech is calling in with his tools! he even offer'd to lend me his own set of reg's to dive(hard to be p*****d off with someone so friendly)But as its a shallow dive i shall be using my ancient regs which have probably never been serviced since 3000bc and still work fine(unless you do turn up with a spare set polly, then i may borrow yours, thanks) fingers crossed though that mine will be sorted tomoro. i did point out yet again to my lds main man that they worked fine until service! its like taking your car in for service and getting it back with a mis fire. I shall consider using my other local'ish dive centre for there service next year(if i have'nt bought a nice shiney new set by then)Sad
