Help needed with finding the owners of Scubadoo Dive Shop South Croydon Surrey. I am flying off to the Philippines on the 12th of jan 2009 and need a way of contacting the owners of the shop as they have all my scuba gear plus all my girlfriends too that was being serviced by them.

Sorry to hear of your dilema - hope you get it sorted!

Dig a little digging, the website hasn't been updated since October of last year which isn't a good sign. Checked out the registrant of there website and it is registered to the shop's address BUT there is an admin's e-mail address which is coxyson@aol.com which may be worth trying. Sadly no alternative phone numbers listed.

More bad news to add I'm afraid; the website is registered to Scuba Doo Trading Ltd, who are overdue on their accounts at Companies House (was supposed to be filed by 6th December)

Thanks for everyones help i have just been contacted by them via email and i hope it will all be resolved tomorrow. I hope to meet up with a few of you UK divers when i'm in the philippines for some of the best diving in the world...

I'm just a customer of Scubadoo's and have always been happy with the service and training I received from them. This is the email I received from them its a shame.
Dear Divers
It is with great regret that we inform you that unfortunately the Scubadoo shop has had to close its business due to the economic crisis that the country is suffering at the moment. We have struggled to break even with the internet prices around and overheads of running a retail outlet in this economic climate and we had no other choice but to wind up the company of Scubadoo Trading Ltd.
The Training School and the dive club have always been separate to the retail business and are not affected by these recent events. In fact, the good news is that we will have more time to schedule trips, courses and holidays on the Training School side. We are still diving and teaching and holidaying, just not selling retail kit. All outstanding courses booked with the Training School will still go ahead and refunds on courses will not therefore be available.
