hood filling with air
Is there a way to stop my hood filling with air on mask clearing.
Its tucked over my latex seal of the dry suit and under the neoprene flap of the dry suit. It fits over my mask seal so when I clear the mask the air escapes into the hood. It then takes a while to work out through the vent holes in the top of the hood and as its doing this can make my mask strap slip causing the mask to leak. Should I make the vent holes in the top of the hood slightly larger? Also the holes in the top of the hood are not in top when I'm swimming so this make it hard for the air to escape.
I'm trying not to use such a lung full of air to clear my mask but i hate water up my nose and its worse when its cold as i tend to inhale it hence the large lung full of air out through my nose to counteract this.

Any suggestions.

RE: hood filling with air
i just poked holes all over the hood ( top and back of head ) with a bradawl. That does the trick and water does'nt flood in either.

My sugar daddy told me that he likes my body, do you?

Soldering iron (seals the edges of the holes).
(but take the hood off first)

Avoids that "conehead" look

I didn't want to ruin my soldering iron so i heated a bid nail up on the cooker hod. Then held in a pair of pliers and poked through the hood.

And for some reson, it also seems to help with equalisation, don't know why.
