Job!!
Arrived back in uk on sunday, had interview to get my old job back on monday, and got accepted immedietly!
Also, because i've been gone less than 3 years, I should come back in on my previous terms and conditions, which means back in at top rate for pay grade and pension benefits. Just waiting on police background checks to be done before i can start. will be working with juvenile offenders, hence the need for police checks. |

UK job market is a better prospect than some other european countries right now. Spanish unemployment is much higher than UK, with fewer tourists coming over and not spending as much when they do. I only managed to earn 900 euros this summer from diving, dive centre was only doing a fraction of the business compared to a few years ago. The builders i also worked for had less work on as well. I didnt come back because i wanted to, it was necessary. If I had more work over there, i would have stayed. |

RE: Job!!
If we left here we would be moving outside of Europe. My comment was not just based on Employment, say no more!

Still, means plenty of overtime is available, which is a bonus, because I need to put aside enough for deposit/months rent on a house or flat so that i can bring my wife over aswell. Once we have a base, she can start looking for work too. Staying with freinds in the short term, who have been amazing with the offer of accomodation, and helping arrange the re-entry into my old job |
