Wink Hi im a wannabe PADI Pro hoping to move to Thailand or some where sunny
Hi all, Thought i'd join this forum too (have joined another scuba forum but its bery quiet) - quick bit about me - Having only had a played at SCUBA twice (with the army OW and the RAF CW) many years back and following a recent trip to Thailand and various other factors to detailed to go into and many hours of research and phone calls i have decided to go for PADI pro as my future career - with the aim of moving abroad (a big desire for getting out of England for a long time) not only because PADI Pro seems the best way to work abroad unless your an engineer but because it has to beat a 9-5 office job hands down. Anyhow OW course booked for December and im hoping that's the start of a new life LoL.Thumbs Up

The current plan is to get my Dive Master in the UK hopefully by Aug/Sept 09 (Aquatech in Stockport/Manchester) and then look to possibly do the IDC type stuff in Phuket (likley Sea Fun Divers as they have been very helpfull) as i think i may stand a better chance of securing a decent contract with a school/dive company if i do some of the training with them. I am deadly serious about getting out there for a new life with my girlfriend away form England and so any advice, tips etc would be greatly appreciated and valued.. If need be and Pattaya offered me the oppertunity i wouldn't rule it out but would eventually want to end up in Phuket - Kata or Surin maybe.
