eand and aow plz help

hi
just a quick question......
tomorrow (wed) i am doing some training with capernwray diving school. im completing my aow cert which involves a drysut dive and a eand dive?
capernwray informed me that the "nitrox" dive will indeed count towards my aow cert. however in the adventures in diving manual (apparently containing all the adventure dives which count towards the aow) there is no eand dive mentioned.....
will the eand dive tomorrow count towards my aow?wheres the knowledge review for it?
i have also today bought the eand manual but i assumed thats for the speciality and not the adventure dive?

If your instructor says it will count then i guess it will count. Expect the documentation and the information to be supplied by the instructor.

Not sure but I know that PADI Nitrox course you now don't do a dive with it.

yeah a guy at capernwray (not the instructor) told me that the eand course does not include any dives. i wanted to buy materials locally to read through them prior to turning up an he just told me i would need the adventures in diving manual and the eand manual. ive done knowledge review for drysuit but not sure which bits to even read in the eand manual its pretty thick!lol
ah well il just turn up and see how it goes.....i know its cold but i cant wait!!!!

this is one of those strange anomolies in the padi curriculum!!! If you do the EAN as a speciality, there are no dives required for it. If however, you do it as part of your AOW, you must do a dive with it.......thats why many dives stores do not offer it as part of aow as the spec is wasy enough to do and you cna do another dive for your aow
