Eight Acre Lake
This is a new inland site that's about 15 minutes away from where I live and was wondering if anyone's dived there?

It looks ok on paper

But better to get the opinion of the masses eh?

RE: Eight Acre Lake
Ah awesome

Well if you were going to go down I'd be well up for joining if you wouldn't mind having a tag along?

do you dive in a dry suit?
I've only got a semi so i wouldnt want to reduce your dive time by too much

RE: Eight Acre Lake
I am pretty sure Polly has been a few times. Give her a PM or wait a little and I am sure she will be online soon.

RE: Eight Acre Lake
Nope - not made it there yet. Maybe sometime in the New Year though, will get in touch if I have plans.

RE: Eight Acre Lake
Went before it closed (now under new ownership I believe), so over a year ago now but was impressed.

Very silty so you need good bouyancy and shallow (max 16m I think), but the depth makes it ideal for someone with just their OW qualification as the whole site is within their capability.
