Iv never quite got why some say after a deco dive stay out the water for 24 hours, surely thats like saying after a 20 minute, 20m dive with a 3 minute safety stop at 5m you dont enter the water for 24 hours, after all arent all dives deco dives?
What happens on a liveaboard or a week in scapa......... now heres where I usualy upset people, IMO people dont enter the water for another dive after a deco dive because they have chugged away through all there gas on the first dive and dont have any left for another dive :p
However I can see why you wouldnt after a big, huge dive with massive amounts of deco as your probably f***ked and cant manage another.

Risks probably increase after the longer profile deco dives due to there being more chance of an individual being tired and dehydrated etc, raising the likelihood of an undeserved bend. As it's not something that's predictable, each places their own interpretation and level of conservatism on how they approach it.

Sort of a contradiction in terms there ;)
