And long may we remain like that Smile
I only draw the line at pages and pages of twoddle that sometimes just become boring.

And threads like that really reflect real life - imagine the scene... Porthkerris by the sea and we are sat around the camp fire talking. The discussion starts with how good the dive was but the subject gently moves from that to Dougalsdads fine selection of cheeses ... to BK's foreskin .... to the whale that died on the Thames .. to the Japanese restaurant at Waterloo.... to how stupid that Doogle fella was and thank god he's left so we can all slag him off.

By the way .. anybody seen Doogle recently?

I personally think in the past Peter, Dave and Steevil have done an excellent job of locking sensitive/controversial threads (including a few of my own) and deleting inappropriate ones. Hopefully the three "newbys" will be able to continue this, so please be patient whilst we are settling into the new position.

In the past I think Dave has done a great job of seperating his "posting" identity from his "moderator" one, I will try to follow his example and state in the thread if I'm writing as a moderator. I will also try to follow Steevil's example and where appropriate PM posters explaining why their thread has been locked/deleted.

I have to say Jenkins the day you delete one of my post without following the forum etiquette ill be off.........

The 3 Rules of Diving
1. Enjoy the dive.
