The who takes what should all be in the buddy check, so sky blue pink makes no dif. Are we talking fashion statement or diving? If both of you are on long hoses, both should know what is going on but as some see it as a bit of a fashion statement to have a long hose and some still are unsure of the proper procedure and positioning for OOA situation its worth spendinga bit of time on the buddy check. As for deco tanks. the tanks should be clearly marked 6,21 ect and on the switch prep, the OK given by your buddy you are on the right gas. Colour who gives a #2$$ get it wrong and it a funny shade of blue you will be going

The only thing i would add to the above is to make sure that its not a colour that fades with depth! For instance, red will disappear at around 10-15 metres unless it is a neon red.
