So not the same (non) service experience as Light-for-Me.

Spent a pleasant hour pottering around in the shallows today fiddling with my new CCR. Feeling a lot happier with it now.

I've told you before to MTFU and buy a new cardigan. After all, by your own admission, you are old enough.

Trying to dive it too far below minimum loop due to the feeling of it being overly full on the exhale. Just needs getting used to.

One full breath is all that’s needed. And close the ADV (assuming you have one) once settled at depth. If it feels too full on exhale are you in flatish trim? Certainly on BMCL you can feel hamster cheeks on the surface/head up.

The breathing feels nice and easy, in and out, with the JJ, but on the CM one the exhale feels like the loop is quite full and needs more effort to exhale, so as a consequence I was then trying to inhale below minimum loop.

I didn’t appreciate the difference between the two lung positions and expected it to breath similarly to BM CLs.

Had a good chat with a couple of experts which clarified things nicely, so when I dived yesterday my expectations were appropriately calibrated.

Did the last dive "this summer" today out of Eastbourne on the Caleb Sprague with @jps. Rather lumpy so quite a kitting up challenge and stomach churning for some. Good vis on the bottom, but snotty during the stops. Still 17 degrees. Interesting wreck, loads of life. Hopefully will be some more opportunities before the season closes.

Happy that the heated vest worked well.

Suit heater connectors arrived from Deep-Ideas. Good service. Thankfully I don’t now need them, so they’ll go into the spares box for the next repair:)

A certain, rather vocal, member of the forum was spotted negatively buoyant on the Karlsruhe today, fiddling with kit.

A post is put up, and you think it’s about you?

Your ego, once again exceeds your abilities.

Unless you’re in scapa. So which one is it?

He is threatening to do mod1...

Maybe we will be treated to the daily mod 1 updates...? Mine would have been quite amusing!

A route to regular CCR usage, if not ownership, has been worked out.

I was definitely not on the bottom of the Karlsruhe in a turbine room reassembling my camera arms. Ok, I did drop the torch. And the camera. But those butterfly connectors are bloody fiddly and a stupid design...

 so the kit is at fault.
    :cool:Relieved to hear that.
Will you be recommending to the manufacturers how they can improve their products to be wibble-proof? (is that possible???)
