GG is probably installing a spellchecker...
say what now?! You have had it for a day and you have broken it already!
That was my phone putting words in my mouth. had no web access and weird limited Tapatalk access.
The DNS transfer seems to have cocked up. The name servers aren't supposed to change when doing an owner transfer. Unforunately they have and they're pointing at some bloody spam site. Aaarrrggghhhh. I'm working with PeterT to sort this out, but it's sodding annoying!
I will try to get the ukdivers.co.uk and ukdivers.eu working. Waiting for the DNS to propagate
No need to apologise, I am very grateful you have stepped up and saved the forum. Thanks.
Hello GG !
We're back up in a temporary new home on UKDivers.EU. Once things get sorted, I'll redirect everyone back to the UKDivers.com domain.
Technically the DNS transfer has failed. Normally this is a simple change to the whois part of the DNS record whilst leaving the name server fields alone (the name servers are the things that link server names to IP addresses). It appears that the original holding company has overwritten the whole DNS record... It's a damn mess. How long this will take to sort out is now up to the various internet deities.
We have a support incident open with the original company, but they've also lost control of the domain, so need to go upstream to get it back. Apparently they're "really sorry for any inconvenience this has caused".
I'm a bit cheesed off about the fact that I'm now left with apologising for some other entity's errors/omissions. PeterT's in the same boat.
I'm going to try to email out some of the recently active members with the new UKDivers.EU domain name. If anyone can cascade this down via TwitterBook / email / LinkedGram / whatever, please do!
I'm not sure what the issue is - UKDivers.com is still working fine for me (via BTInternet, but using OpenDNS)
Alas it's cached. The DNS will eventually go over to the new broken record.. Broken record.. Broken record..
So be prepared to go over to UKDivers.EU
Oh yes .... It directed me to another website !! Back on now TF
Bugger - I will have to do some work
Open a browser, type UKDivers.EU, press enter...
Work? Or do you mean the paid kind!
ISTR reading that the hippo is one of the most dangerous animal in Africa; bad tempered and surprisingly quick on their feet!
Hopefully very much this.
+1 I might actually be able to make some of them too!
That girl on the holding page is pretty hot. I'm not sure about her blouse though. Doesn't look muck like a diver to me though.
Did everyone get the email? Or, if you didn't get the email, could you let me know (this is assuming that you've heard and are here).
i got the mail, but am still accessing through ukdivers.com!!!
