    Hi,
Anyone know which kind of cord is used in dump valves(wing or jacket). I want to change mine but I don’t know which one I should buy.

    Thank you regards.

I've used cave line and tied it into a Cobra knot.

I've used a shoelace in the past, I have since replaced this though.

Is it too early to nominate the most useless and patronising post of the year?

The guy needs a few centimetres of string and you want him to call AP Valves.

I would want him to use the stuff that's designed for the job and not some string that will break first time it's used.
AP valves sell it and are known in many cases to just send small items for free, they are very good in that way.

In the time you've typed this he could have sent an email to AP, could have got a price and even a chance of
getting it for free, but if you don't ask you get nowt.

To the OP instead of reading negative BS if you want some AP cord, drop me a PM with an address and i'll send
    you some for free :)

Thank you!. I will take a look.

Thank you!!! :) The problem is that i live in Spain. II will try one of these if i can´t adapt i will unmount one and go to a hardware store and buy it. I want both valves a little bit longer. I can reach right now but if i do a this little mod i could reach easier.
