Just came across this gem. I'm sure it will come in handy some time. I may adapt it for singles on holiday with a wing.
I can't see a wing holding those 2kg blocks in place. Sure on the surface when the wing is pumped up full but during the dive.....I don't see it.
Why not use a weight belt and strap it around the twins? That way the weights stay put. Cam bands and weight pouches.
Or just a weight belt around your waist. Sure it might not be exactly as you like it but it will be good enough.
Yeah it would work as long as the blocks were tight to the edge of the backplate, but the downside then would be how much they stick into your back. He's got a pad there so that would be enough to round it off a bit with a standard BP, but with a travel BP (that's likely seeing as it's an on the fly solution) then can see that digging in. TBH there are better solutions.
