X Deep oled screen colour faded on display .

    Hi, has anyone come across this problem.The computer is fully charged and I have factory reset and tried adjusting the display and brightness but the brightness is just not there .The display is clear but not as right or white as it should be .Any help please ?

    Yeah think the wife’s one has done this too. Did enquire through underwater explorers who tracked down somewhere to replace the screen but we didn’t bother , think it wasn’t cost effective.

    Bloody useless things. Mine is the same; sod all brightness just about viewable in darkness.

    Amazingly it's still working (although it's not been wet in many years).

    It's an incredibly common issue. It's a feature of the OLED screens.

    I had one. The screen is replacable. I bought one from aliexpress and paid an electronics specialist to solder it onto the board, but I think they messed up the battery connections while putting it all back together, and I made it worse by investigating, so I ended up throwing it away.
