Hey Frog,
What exactly is a Sonar seeking navigation device? is it one of those things that hangs below a boat so that you can find your way back?
Dave.

Thanks Ian but now I'm really confused.. can you expand on that a little bit more mate.
Why would I as a diver want to find a sonar?? genuine question, even tho I'm probably gonna look stupid.....

A transmitter hangs below the boat on the shot line, and gives out signals. Then receiver bit receives the signals, and tells you where the transmitter is so you can find your way back to it. It can be hung on the shot line under a boat, or hung on a line with a weight and a buoy for shore diving etc.
