Anyone been fairly recently? What are the facilities like? Anywhere sheltered to change? Hot food and drinks? O2 fills? Thanks
Only open on weekends and holidays, has a membrane system. Small shed effort at the entrance with pumping station, does tea/coffes etc. Other end changing limted to a shipping container and a portaloo at the far end, this is not NDAC/Vobster, but can be a different day out. Site is large and fairly open though, so take a big coat https://cromhall.com/cromhall/cromhall-diving-centre
Thanks @Tel . We went today but it was shut to divers as they had pumps running to try and reduce water levels.
The only point to Cromhall that I could see was the toll saving on the bridge. Now that's gone, I can't see any reason to want to slum it there when Chepstow is a stone's throw away.
Avoiding the buses. Perhaps a car park not covered in cat litter. Thought it might be an easy entry with some heavy kit too.
I've only been to Cromhall once but really liked it. It's basic, but you can park near the water, they have gas fills, tea, snacks and cakes, and you can take your own barbecue. The club are running a Buoyancy and Trip course there next month if you think you need it
